• Hours will vary between morning and afternoon work
• Days are variable including weekend work
• Be available – on call situation
• Have an understanding in the importance of WHS
• You will be employed directly by the employer
• Training is available

You will need to be able to work at a fast pace, packing produce into punnets and standing for long periods. Be able to work in a repetitive environment.  You will require a keen eye for detail as will be grading and assessing each piece of fruit for quality and sizing.

Picking requires a good level of physical fitness and eye for detail.  Care in handling is needed as fruit is delicate.  Plant maintenance is part of the job, de-runner and leafing of plants will be carried out.

• Have an understanding in the importance of WHS
• You will be employed directly by the employer
• Training is available

This work is all weather work.

Physical fitness is required as this job involves long hours of bending, squatting, repetitive hand movements in hard and soft soils, working on wet, slippery, muddy surfaces.
